“The Shore of Meetings” is a story-based online puzzle game for children from the LittleBookBirdAndWiseOwl world, inspired by “The Book About Birds, Part 1”. The seashore is part of the main characters’ journey map from the game “Our First Adventure”, where the first encounters along their path begin.
There is no need to rush in this game: the complete picture is gradually assembled from separate pieces by looking closely at shapes, colors, edges, and details. The seashore appears fragment by fragment until the separate pieces come together as one scene from the journey of the Little Book Bird and the Wise Owl.
The player assembles the complete picture from separate pieces, finding the correct place for each one. The shapes of objects, color transitions, edges, continuing lines, and familiar details in the illustration can all be used as clues. The game includes:
Attention & Concentration
Observation & Visual Discrimination
Spatial Thinking & Orientation
Memory
Problem Solving
To find the correct place for each piece, the child needs to compare shapes, edges, areas of color, small details, and the way one part of the picture may continue into another. Gradually, separate fragments begin to be understood as parts of a larger spatial picture, while previously seen elements and the overall structure of the scene need to be kept in mind. If a piece does not fit, it can be reconsidered, compared with other possibilities, and tried again, so the solution comes through observation and testing rather than random guessing. The game does not require speed, allowing the child to stay with one task for longer and assemble the puzzle at their own pace.
“The Shore of Meetings” continues the route first introduced in “Our First Adventure”: one part of the map becomes a separate scene that the child can now assemble themselves. In this way, within the LittleBookBirdAndWiseOwl world, the journey from the book and games continues through new places, encounters, and ways of interacting with the story.
From story to action. From action to play. From play to new adventures.
