Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how LittleBookBirdAndWiseOwl (“we”, “our”, “us”) collects, uses, stores, and protects personal data when you use our website https://littlebookbirdandwiseowl.com (the “Site”), including when purchasing digital products, sending messages, submitting reviews, or sending a child’s drawing through the “Ideas for New Adventures” section.

We aim to collect only the personal data necessary to operate the Site, fulfil orders, provide its features, communicate with users, maintain security, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell personal data and do not use children’s data for advertising.

1. Data We Collect

Purchases of Digital Products

The Site may offer digital books, creative and learning materials, and other LittleBookBirdAndWiseOwl digital products for sale. When you make a purchase, data necessary to process the order, complete the payment, and provide the purchased digital product may be processed, including your email address, information about the purchased product, payment amount and currency, payment status, an order number or other technical order or transaction identifier, as well as country or other information required for tax calculation and compliance with legal requirements.

We do not store full bank card details on the Site. Data required directly for processing a payment is handled by the payment provider in accordance with its privacy and security policies. The Site may receive service information from the payment provider that is necessary to confirm the purchase, provide the digital product, support the customer, process refunds, calculate taxes, and maintain financial records.

Children’s Drawings and “Ideas for New Adventures”

A child’s drawing may be submitted through the “Ideas for New Adventures” section only by the child’s parent or legal guardian. Before submitting a drawing, the adult verifies their email address using a one-time code. For this purpose, we process the email address and technical data necessary to send and verify the code, protect the feature from abuse, and apply the submission-frequency rule.

After email verification, the Site may remember the verification on the same device and in the same browser for up to 7 days. This does not create a separate paid account and is not required to use the public online games.

When a drawing is submitted, we process the adult’s email address, the drawing file, the submission date, information about its review and status, and information about the child if the adult has chosen to provide it.

Only the child’s first name, age, and country may be provided. Do not provide the child’s surname, address, school, class number, phone number, email address, or other sensitive information. Providing information about the child is voluntary. If no child information is provided, the drawing or idea may be reviewed without identifying the child by name.

If a drawing or idea is selected, the child information provided may be used next to the drawing or idea in a book, on the Site, in an online game, or in another LittleBookBirdAndWiseOwl material in accordance with the permission given by the adult who submitted the material.

Contact Form and Reviews

When you send us a message through the contact form, we process the information you provide in the form, including your name, email address, and message.

When you submit a review about a book, product, or LittleBookBirdAndWiseOwl, we may process the name, country, review text, image, and other information you provide where the form allows it. A review may be published on the Site after moderation.

Online Game Likes

For the online game like feature, the Site may use a technical browser identifier to remember whether a particular game has already been liked, maintain the like counter, and reduce repeated votes. This feature does not require you to provide a name or email address.

Analytics and Technical Data

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the Site, for example which pages are viewed, what type of device or browser is used, and how visitors move between pages. Google Analytics may process technical data including IP address, browser and device information, and cookie or similar technology identifiers.
