LittleBookBirdAndWiseOwl is not just a children’s book project or a website with online games. It is an author-led book-and-game world for children, where printed books, skill-building activities inside the books, and story-based online games inspired by the book adventures work together.
The books can be read, colored, cut, glued, and used for other hands-on activities. Then the adventure can continue online, at the child’s own pace, with the same main characters: the Little Book Bird and the Wise Owl. Everything here has meaning and is connected.
Who are the Little Book Bird and the Wise Owl?
The stories, activities and online games are connected by two main characters: the curious and lively Little Book Bird and the calm, attentive Wise Owl, who explains things and helps make difficult ideas easier to understand. The books follow their journeys, and the games on the website continue them.
How everything works
- Our children’s books with stories and skill-building activities are the main doorway into the world of LittleBookBirdAndWiseOwl. In the books, a child reads stories, completes activities with a pencil or pen, cuts, glues, colors pages, and works with paper and imagination.
- On the website, the adventure can continue through online games inspired by the book world. Children can return to familiar characters while developing logic, attention and memory. The games have no ads, hidden purchases or manipulative engagement tricks. Here, play is a calm process of thinking, not pressure or competition.
How Paid Access works
Some online games are always available for free. Paid access opens all paid games on the website for the selected access period. All prices, access periods and payment terms are shown on the Account page in the “Paid Access” section.
Paid access is purchased as a one-time payment: no subscription, no automatic renewal and no hidden charges. After the paid access period ends, the paid games become unavailable again, while the free games remain open.
Why an active account is needed
An account is needed to pay for and receive paid access to games, send a child’s drawing for future stories, and take a break by logging out if needed. We do not use passwords: simply enter an email address, receive a one-time code by email, and enter it on the website.
After the code is entered, the account remains active for up to 7 days on this device and in this browser. When this period ends, the website will ask for account activation again. Reactivation does not cancel paid access and does not change its access period.
The child as a co-creator
Children in the world of LittleBookBirdAndWiseOwl are not only readers or users. They can also become participants by sending a drawing for the future journeys of the main characters. A drawing may become an idea for where the Little Book Bird and the Wise Owl will go in one of the next books.
A drawing can only be sent by an adult – a mother, father, grandmother, grandfather or another legal guardian — for free through the user account. If the drawing inspires a new story, the drawing itself may be printed in a future book together with the child’s name.
What kinds of drawings are accepted?
We accept drawings made on the special final page of any of our books. It can be a small story where the main characters fly somewhere, search for something, talk to someone, laugh or wonder. The technical requirements can be found in the user account.
Are drawings printed in the books?
Yes, some drawings may be printed in future books. If a drawing inspires a new journey for the Little Book Bird and the Wise Owl, a new story may grow from it, and the drawing itself may become part of the book together with the child’s name. In this way, the drawing becomes part of a bigger adventure while keeping the spirit of what the child created.
Do we pay money or rewards for drawings?
No. This is not a contest or a competition. A child’s drawing is treated as sincere inspiration for future stories and books. You give permission for the drawing to be used for free, to be printed in one of the future books, or not to be used at all. Royalties, prizes and other payments are not provided.
Privacy and a safe digital space
The world of LittleBookBirdAndWiseOwl is a calm and predictable space for children and their parents:
- we do not sell personal data;
- we do not share email addresses or other personal data with third parties for advertising;
- necessary payment-related data may be processed by a payment provider to complete the payment, confirm access, handle taxes, receipts and refunds;
- we do not use data for marketing emails without separate consent;
- there are no ads, banners, third-party advertising networks or hidden advertising integrations on the website;
- children’s drawings are not published automatically and are not used without permission from the adults who send them;
- submitted drawings are kept only during the work on a book and are deleted afterwards.
Here, safety is part of the idea.
Why there are no PDF books here
LittleBookBirdAndWiseOwl intentionally does not sell full books in PDF format. The project is built around:
- real actions,
- tactile experience,
- mistakes and corrections,
- hands-on creativity.
It is about time spent with a real book.
What age is this project for?
Formally, the project is designed for children aged 6–9, but there are no rigid limits here. Some children read earlier. Some play longer. Curiosity has no age.
Can the books be used without the website?
Yes. Each book is complete on its own and works without the digital part. The website is a way to go further, not a requirement.
