About the Puzzle Game “Forward to New Adventures!”

“Forward to New Adventures!” is the third online puzzle game inspired by “The Book About Birds, Part 1”. After “Our First Adventure” and “The Shore of Meetings”, the journey of the Little Book Bird and the Wise Owl continues. Their first encounters are behind them, and a new part of the path is opening ahead.

This puzzle continues the story route of the book and captures the moment when new adventures are only just beginning. Piece by piece, trees, bushes, stones, and a path gradually come together, leading onward to new places, new encounters, and new little discoveries waiting for the characters.

How the Game Works

The player gradually assembles the complete picture from separate pieces, finding the correct place for each one. Shapes, colors, continuing lines, the direction of the path, and other details in the illustration can all be used as clues. The game includes:

  • 4 difficulty levels: 5×3, 6×4, 8×5, or 9×5;
  • a “Show Picture” button to view the complete image as a hint;
  • a “Shuffle” button to mix the puzzle pieces and start assembling the picture again;
  • a “Full Screen” button for more comfortable play on different devices.

What Does the Game Develop?

Attention & Concentration
Observation & Visual Discrimination
Spatial Thinking & Orientation
Memory
Problem Solving

To find the correct place for each piece, the child has to compare several visual clues at once: the shapes of objects, the direction of lines, color transitions, lighter and darker areas, and the way different parts of the picture continue into one another. Gradually, separate details begin to be understood as parts of a larger spatial picture. If the child uses the full-image hint and then returns to the puzzle, they also need to keep the overall structure of the picture in mind. A piece placed incorrectly can be reconsidered and tried somewhere else, so the game allows the child to test ideas calmly, notice mismatches, and work toward the correct solution step by step without having to rush.
