“Author, we’ve flown to visit you!” chattered the Little Book Bird as she and the Wise Owl flew into the room and landed on the table. “Could you talk about our world – what it includes and why it exists?”
“Of course I can,” the Author replied. “Have you decided to tell our readers more about yourselves?”
“Yes,” said the Wise Owl. “It was the Little Book Bird’s idea. And I think it’s a very good one! We have already told our readers how we came to be.”
“That was a good idea,” the Author smiled. “Now readers of our books will be able to get to know you more quickly.”
“LittleBookBirdAndWiseOwl is a world of printed children’s books with stories, developmental activities, and fascinating facts inside them – along with online games inspired by the stories from these books,” the Author continued. “And in those books, it is you – the Little Book Bird and the Wise Owl – who tell the stories.”
“Yes, we travel, discover new things, and tell others about them,” chirped the Little Book Bird.
“That’s right,” the Author nodded. “The online games in our world are different. They have meaning, and they are not built around competition. They are created to support, not to pressure; to help, not to distract; to spark curiosity, not to distract from discovering the world.”
“And why did you decide to make not only books, but online games as well?” asked the Little Book Bird.
“You know, I was curious whether printed books could be connected with the digital space,” the Author replied. “And I didn’t want to create games just for the sake of games. I wanted the stories not to end on the last page, but to continue in the games. Besides, now you have your own home. And you can play online games.”
“Yes! I’ve already done some puzzles!” exclaimed the Little Book Bird. “Wonderful! Everything has fallen into place now. So when are we setting off on our next journey?”
“Very soon,” the Author replied.
And the three of them began discussing where they would travel in the next book.
