How It Works

LittleBookBirdAndWiseOwl is not just children’s books or a website with games. It is a whole world for children – creative, interactive, playful, and thoughtfully designed – where printed books and a safe digital space naturally complement each other.

Our books are made to be read, colored, cut, glued, and explored with hands – and only then continued online, at your own pace, with the same main characters: Little Book Bird and Wise Owl. Everything here is connected and meaningful.

Who are the Little Book Bird and the Wise Owl

In our world, all stories and games are united by two main characters: the curious and lively Little Book Bird and the calm, attentive Wise Owl, who explains and helps make sense of complex things. There is no abstract program or faceless interface here – the books tell the characters’ journeys, and the games on the website continue those journeys.

How everything works

  1. You start with one of our physical books. Our printed children’s books with games are the heart of the project – not a PDF and not an app. Each book is designed for hands-on interaction: reading stories, coloring pages, cutting and gluing, and completing tasks with a pencil or pen. Physical interaction with the book is essential.
  2. You then register on the LittleBookBirdAndWiseOwl website, which continues the stories from the books and gives access to interactive games inspired by them. These are thoughtfully designed educational games for children – not random templates. They help develop logic, attention, and memory, and allow children to return to familiar characters. There is no advertising, no aggressive timers, no “win/lose” mechanics, and no artificial stimulation. The book is the key. The website is the continuation. Games are a calm thinking process, not a competition.

Why an account is needed

Access to the games is provided through an account, where a parent’s email address is added. The account creates a closed and safe online space, activates games connected to the books, saves progress, and allows children’s drawings to be sent for future journeys of the main characters.

How access works

Some games are available for free after account activation. Extended access, available after payment, opens more games and features connected to the books and the characters’ journeys, with no hidden conditions. All access details are always clearly visible in the user account. You can always understand what is available and why.

Children as co-creators

Children in the world of LittleBookBirdAndWiseOwl are not just readers or users. They can become participants by sending their own drawings for future journeys of the main characters. A drawing can become an idea for where the Little Book Bird and the Wise Owl will travel in one of the next books. Children’s drawings can be sent free of charge through the personal user account.

Why there are no PDFs

LittleBookBirdAndWiseOwl intentionally does not sell PDF books. The project is built around:

  • real actions,
  • tactile experience,
  • mistakes and corrections,
  • hands-on creativity.

This is not about endless scrolling. It is about time spent with a book.

What age is this project for?

Formally, the project is designed for children aged 6–9, but we do not set strict limits. Some children read earlier. Others play longer. Curiosity has no age.

Can the books be used without the website?

Yes. Each book is complete on its own and works without the digital part. The website is an opportunity to go further — not a requirement.
